Yeni Parti Genel Başkanı Özgür Özel, Meclis Genel Kurulunda görüşmelerine başlayan çerçeve yasaya 'evet' oyu kullanacaklarını belirterek, 'Barışın önünde durmayacağız. Bir daha şehit haberi gelmemesi için barışın önünde durmayacağız. Barışın önünü açacağız' dedi.

Özel, 'Barış, hukuku milletin gözünden kaçırılarak yazılamaz. Millet bu ülkenin sahibidir, ta kendisidir. Bu teklife hayır deme hakkı en çok olan siyasi parti kimdir diye sokağa sorduğunuzda bugün karşınızda bulunan Yeni Parti'dir' ifadelerini kullandı.

Özgür Özel, konuşmasına devam ederek, 'Önümüzdeki teklifin içeriği, hazırlanış biçimi kadar sorunludur. Komisyon raporu tüm partilerin katılımıyla hazırlandı. Ancak bu kanun teklifinde hepimizin altına imza attığı raporun sadece 6. maddesi var. O kısım da sorunlu, özensiz, problemli bir şekilde hayata geçirilmiş' dedi.

Yeni Parti Genel Başkanı Özgür Özel, 'Biz böyle bir iktidarın samimiyetine, gelecekte verecek sözlere de güvenmiyoruz. Biz rüzgara göre şekil değiştiren taraf değiliz. Bizi uyaran yurttaşların sesini duyuyoruz' şeklinde konuştu.

New Party Chairman Özgür Özel announced that they will vote 'yes' on the framework law, which has begun to be discussed in the Grand National Assembly, saying, 'We will not stand in the way of peace. Özel said, 'Peace cannot be achieved by deceiving the people and bypassing the law. The people are the owners of this country, they are the ones who truly matter. If you ask people on the street which political party has the most right to say no to this proposal, the answer will be the New Party, which is standing before you today.'

Özgür Özel continued his speech, saying, 'The content of the proposal before us is as problematic as the way it was prepared. The commission report was prepared with the participation of all parties. However, this bill only includes the 6th article of the report that we all signed. That part is also problematic, carelessly, and poorly implemented.'

New Party Chairman Özgür Özel said, 'We do not trust the sincerity of such a government, nor do we trust the promises they will make in the future. We are not a party that changes shape according to the wind. We hear the voices of citizens who warn us.'

رئیس حزب جدید، عزیز اُزل، در مجلس ملی در حال بحث در مورد قانون چارچوب، اعلام کرد که به آن رأی مثبت خواهند داد و گفت: «در برابر صلح ایستادگی نخواهیم کرد. برای اینکه دیگر هیچ خبر شهادت نرسد، در برابر صلح ایستادگی نخواهیم کرد. بلکه راه صلح را باز خواهیم کرد.»

اُزل گفت: «صلح را نمی‌توان با پنهان کردن قانون از دید مردم نوشت. مردم صاحب این کشور هستند و خودشان هستند. اگر از مردم بپرسید که کدام حزب بیشتر از همه حق دارد به این پیشنهاد رأی منفی دهد، حزب جدید در مقابل شما خواهد بود.»

اُزل در ادامه گفت: «محتوا و شیوه تهیه پیشنهاد پیش رومان به همان اندازه مشکل‌آفرین است. گزارش کمیسیون با مشارکت همه احزاب آماده شده است. اما در این لایحه قانونی فقط ماده ۶ آن گزارش وجود دارد که مشکل‌آفرین، بی‌دقت و با مشکل اجرا شده است.»

رئیس حزب جدید، عزیز اُزل، گفت: «ما به صمیمیت چنین حکومتی و وعده‌های آینده آن اعتماد نمی‌کنیم. ما طرفی نیستیم که با تغییر باد، شکل خود را تغییر دهیم. ما صدای مردم را که ما را هشدار می‌دهند می‌شنویم.»
